Yikhazqal 18:20–23 (Ezekiel)
The Naphash that Khata shall die. The son shall not carry the ʿAwun of the father, nor shall the father carry the ʿAwun of the son. The Tsadaqah of the Tsadaq shall be upon him, and the Rashaʿ of the Rashaʿ shall be upon him. But if the Rashaʿ Shub from all his Khata that he has committed, guards all My Khukim, and does Mishpat and Tsadaqah, he shall surely live; he shall not die. None of the transgressions he committed shall be remembered against him. In the Tsadaqah that he has done, he shall live. "Do I take any pleasure at all in the death of the Rashaʿ?" declares Yahuah. "Is it not that he should Shub from his Darakim and live?"
