Yashaʿyahu 59:12–15 (Isaiah)
For our Pashaʿim are multiplied before You, and our Khatauth answer against us. For our Pashaʿim are with us, and we Yada our ʿAwunuth: Pashaʿ and denying Yahuah, turning away from following our Alahym, speaking oppression and revolt, conceiving and uttering false Dabarim from the Lab. And Mishpat is turned backward, and Tsadaqah stands far away, for Amat has stumbled in the street, and straightness cannot enter. And Amat is missing, and the one who Sur from Raʿ makes himself prey. And Yahuah saw it, and it was Raʿ in His eyes that there was no Mishpat.
Meaning
Transgression, rebellion; a willful breaking of the covenant. Pashaʿim are transgressions.
To miss the mark, to sin; failing to meet Yahuah's standard. Khataim are sins.
To know by experience and relationship, not merely to hold information.
Iniquity, guilt, crookedness; twisted wrongdoing together with its guilt.
The personal Name of the Creator, written with the four letters yod, he, waw, he. It is His Name, not a title.
The Mighty One; the plural-form title expressing full might and authority, used of Yahuah.
Word, matter, thing spoken; a command or message from Yahuah. Plural Dabarim.
Heart, inner mind, intention, and will; the seat of thought and choice.
Judgment, just ruling, ordinance; the right verdict and the way of justice. Plural Mishpatim.
Righteousness and right conduct; being in the right and doing right. Tsadaq is the righteous one.
Truth, firmness, reliability; what holds and can be trusted.
To turn aside, depart, or remove from a thing.
Evil, bad, harmful; wrong in nature or in effect.
