Verse of the Day

Yashaʿyahu 58:6–10 (Isaiah)

"Is not this the fast that I choose: to loose the bonds of Rashaʿ, to untie the cords of the yoke, to send the crushed free, and that you break every yoke? Is it not to divide your bread with the hungry, and bring the afflicted and wandering into your house? When you see the naked, cover him, and do not hide yourself from your own Bashar. Then your Aur shall break forth like the dawn, and your healing shall spring forth quickly. Your Tsadaq shall go before you, and the Kabad of Yahuah shall gather behind you. Then you shall call, and Yahuah shall answer. You shall cry, and He shall say, 'Here I am.' If you remove the yoke from your midst, the pointing of the finger, and speaking ʿAwun, and if you pour yourself out for the hungry and satisfy the afflicted Naphash, then your Aur shall rise in darkness, and your gloom shall become like midday."
