Tahilliym 32:1–5 (Psalms)
Ashar is the one whose Pashaʿ is lifted away, whose Khata is covered. Ashar is the Adam to whom Yahuah does not reckon ʿAwun, and in whose Ruakh there is no deceit. When I kept silent, my bones wasted away through my groaning all the day. For day and night Your hand was heavy upon me. My vitality was changed as in the dryness of summer. I Yada my Khata to You, and my ʿAwun I did not cover. I said, "I will confess my Pashaʿim to Yahuah," and You lifted away the ʿAwun of my Khata.
Meaning
Transgression, rebellion; a willful breaking of the covenant. Pashaʿim are transgressions.
To miss the mark, to sin; failing to meet Yahuah's standard. Khataim are sins.
Man, a human being, humankind.
The personal Name of the Creator, written with the four letters yod, he, waw, he. It is His Name, not a title.
Iniquity, guilt, crookedness; twisted wrongdoing together with its guilt.
Spirit, breath, wind; the animating breath and the disposition of a person.
