Tahilliym 1:1–6 (Psalms)
Ashar is the man who does not Halak in the counsel of the Rashaʿim, nor stand in the Darak of the Khataim, nor sit in the seat of mockers. But his delight is in the Turah of Yahuah, and in His Turah he Hagah day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted beside channels of water, which gives its fruit in its season and whose leaf does not wither. Whatever he does shall prosper. The Rashaʿim are not so, but are like chaff that the wind drives away. Therefore the Rashaʿim shall not stand in the Mishpat, nor the Khataim in the assembly of the Tsadaqim. For Yahuah Yada the Darak of the Tsadaqim, but the Darak of the Rashaʿim shall perish.
Meaning
To walk, go, conduct oneself; to live out a way of life.
The wicked one, the guilty, the one in the wrong. Rashaʿim are the wicked.
Way, road, path; the course of one's conduct. Plural Darakim.
To miss the mark, to sin; failing to meet Yahuah's standard. Khataim are sins.
Instruction, teaching, direction from Yahuah. Often rendered law, but its sense is teaching that points the way.
The personal Name of the Creator, written with the four letters yod, he, waw, he. It is His Name, not a title.
To meditate, murmur, and ponder continually. Siykhah is such meditation.
Judgment, just ruling, ordinance; the right verdict and the way of justice. Plural Mishpatim.
Righteousness and right conduct; being in the right and doing right. Tsadaq is the righteous one.
To know by experience and relationship, not merely to hold information.
