Dabarim 30:11–14 (Deuteronomy)
For this Mitswah that I command you today is not too difficult for you, nor is it far away. It is not in the Shamayim, that you should say, "Who will ascend into the Shamayim for us and bring it to us, so that we may Shama it and ʿAsah it?" Nor is it beyond the sea, that you should say, "Who will cross beyond the sea for us and bring it to us, so that we may Shama it and ʿAsah it?" But the Dabar is very near you, in your mouth and in your Labab, so that you may ʿAsah it.
Meaning
Commandment, charge; something commanded. Plural Mitswuth.
The heavens, the sky.
To hear, listen, heed, and respond; hearing that carries the expected obedience.
To do, make, or accomplish; to put a matter into practice.
Word, matter, thing spoken; a command or message from Yahuah. Plural Dabarim.
Heart, inner mind, intention, and will; the seat of thought and choice.
