Dabarim 24:14–15 (Deuteronomy)
You shall not oppress a hired worker who is poor and needy, whether one of your brothers or one of your Garim who is in your land within your gates. On his day you shall give him his wages, and the sun shall not go down upon it, because he is poor and sets his Naphash upon it, lest he cry against you to Yahuah and Khata be upon you.
