And if one Naphash Khata unintentionally, he shall bring a female goat a year old as a Khata-offering. And the Kahan shall Kaphar before Yahuah for the Naphash who committed Khata unintentionally, when he Khata unintentionally, to Kaphar for him, and it shall be forgiven him. For the Azrakh among the children of Yashar'al and for the Gar dwelling among them, one Turah shall be for you concerning the one who ʿAsah unintentionally. But the Naphash who ʿAsah with a high hand, whether Azrakh or Gar, reviles Yahuah. That Naphash shall be cut off from among his people. Because he despised the Dabar of Yahuah and broke His Mitswah, that Naphash shall surely be cut off. His ʿAwun is upon him.
Meaning
Living being, life, self, or person; not the later idea of an immortal, detachable soul.
