The Four Letters Y-H-W-H and What They Carry

In Square Script, the letters are יהוה. In an older Paleo Script form, they can be represented as 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄. The shapes change between scripts, but the underlying four-letter sequence remains identifiable.

What do those letters carry?

First, they carry identity. They identify the One speaking and acting throughout the Scrolls. Yahuah creates. Yahuah covenants. Yahuah delivers. Yahuah commands. Yahuah judges. Yahuah shows mercy. Yahuah receives praise. The repeated Name connects those actions to the same identified One.

Second, the letters carry continuity. The Name appears across different Scroll settings and generations. It joins songs, historical accounts, commands, warnings, promises, and prophetic messages. When a reader recognizes Y-H-W-H, those connections become easier to follow.

Third, the letters carry remembrance. The Scrolls do not treat the Name as an irrelevant spelling detail. The Name is called upon, proclaimed, praised, and remembered. That makes removing it from the reader's awareness a meaningful change.

There is also something the four letters should not be made to carry. They should not be turned into a speculative secret code. Some teachings assign a symbolic picture meaning to each ancient letter and then combine the pictures to create an elaborate hidden message.

Historical letter shapes are worth studying, but lexical meaning does not come from inventing a sentence from four pictures. Language usage, roots, grammar, and context remain the stronger evidence.

The same caution applies to pronunciation. The written letters establish consonantal evidence. They do not reproduce the voice of an ancient speaker. Yahuah is the restored reading used by ZoreaYahu, with that distinction kept visible.

The power of Y-H-W-H does not depend on speculative letter symbolism. The four letters already do something important. They preserve the Name. They allow a modern reader to recognize that the source is not merely speaking about an unnamed higher power.
