More From ZoreaYahu He Alone Is Yahuah All I Want Is Yahuah Blood That Speaks Father & Son Fear Yahuah Or Fall He Don't Bow The Scroll Behind This Song The title of this song comes straight out of Tahilliym (Psalms) 119:89-96, where the writer declares that Yahuah's word is settled and fixed, established as firmly as the heavens and the earth that continue by His faithfulness. The song takes that word settled and makes it the whole thesis, what Yahuah has established is not open for renegotiation by a later age. The passage moves from the permanence of the word to the singer's own resolve never to forget the precepts by which he is kept alive.
Two Torah passages guard that claim on both ends. Dabarim (Deuteronomy) 4:2 forbids adding to or taking away from the commands, and Dabarim (Deuteronomy) 12:32 repeats the same guard almost word for word, telling the people to observe exactly what is commanded without addition or subtraction. Placed together, these passages tell the listener that the instructions were sealed against tampering from the beginning.
Yashaʿyahu (Isaiah) 40:8 and Mal'aki (Malachi) 3:6 supply the reason the lock holds. Yashaʿyahu sets the fading of grass and flowers against the word of Yahuah that stands forever, and Malaki grounds that endurance in the unchanging character of Yahuah, who says of Himself that He does not change. If the speaker does not change, then what He settled stays settled.
Mattithyahu (Matthew) 5:17-19 brings the later witness into the same frame. There the teaching is that the Torah is not abolished but upheld, that not the smallest stroke passes from it while heaven and earth remain, and that those who keep and teach the commands are counted great. The song uses this passage to close the gap some assume exists between the earlier and later Scrolls, showing one consistent testimony rather than a break.
Read as one voice, these passages let the song declare that the matter is already decided. The Word stands, the commands remain, and the character of Yahuah guarantees both. The recording belongs to the Torah continuity and restoration cluster together with Yahuah Never Changed, Obedience To Yahuah Is Love, and Yahuah Breaks The Lies.
