The Story Behind The Woe of Yahuah Upon Them

The Woe of Yahuah Upon Them is a worship song by ZoreaYahu, released 2026-05-14. It is part of ZoreaYahu's restoration music, centered on the Name of Yahuah.

You hear that? That’s not thunder… That’s judgment loading. Because Yahuah told them. They ignored Him. Now comes the “woe.” Woe unto you who take the tithe But hide the truth that the Torah died Not by Yahusha, but your own hands You left His law for the rules of man Woe to the pastors who bless in lies You preach for fame, but the sheep still cry You wear His Name, but don’t walk His ways You teach the people that sin still pays Woe to the singers with gospel beats But hide His Name to keep your seats You call Him “Lord,” but that ain’t right He gave you His Name speak it in light Yahuah said, “Do not follow Rome” But you brought their feasts into your home You bake your cakes to the sun in spring You dress like idols and dance and sing Woe to the ones who praise His birth On a pagan day with no scroll worth He said remember His Moedim But you chose Christmas, you chose the dream You bring out trees, you light your flame But never once call on His Name You changed the times, you flipped His Word Now judgment rides with every sword Woe to those who skip the feast Pass by Pesach, but celebrate beasts Woe to the ones who hide the New Moon But give their kids a birthday balloon He said don’t worship how nations do But you copy their customs and say it’s true You bring out eggs, dress in white But never keep His Sabbath right You go to church but forget His day You kneel to Rome and you love their way You hate the Torah, but love the show Woe unto you, Yahuah gon’ throw Throw down temples built on sand Shake foundations made by man You said His Name don’t really matter But He gon’ make the liars scatter He said, “Call Me by My Name” But you chose titles and played the game He said, “Keep My Words”, you tossed them out Now He gon’ rise with a shout He gon’ burn every idol low He gon’ shake every fake show He gon’ raise up only truth And silence every slick-mouth booth Woe to the schools that twist the scrolls Who teach our children with pagan goals You stole His Name, you changed the map Now He gon’ tear your towers flat Woe to the rich who blind the poor Who buy the system and still want more Woe to the ones who poison the land Sprayin’ the skies with a wicked hand Woe to the doctors that lie for pay Sayin’ “You need this pill today” But won’t say rest or eat what’s clean You trade their lives for a pharma scheme Woe to the courts that sell the law But lock up the meek and let wolves gnaw Woe to the nations who starve the weak And say “It’s war” while children weep Woe to the ones who bless with lips But in their heart they love the scripts That teach them “grace” without the fight And leave the Torah out of sight Woe to the preachers who smile and lie Who say “God” but never testify That Yahusha reigns and paid the cost That sin is sin, and lost is lost Woe to the ones who think He’s soft Who build big churches and preach Him off He said, “You shall not add or take” But you twisted truth for your own sake Woe to the ones who claim to heal But sell the oil and fake the feel Woe to the stage with the smoke and lights That mocks the fire of set-apart nights Woe to the fathers who never teach Who work for gain but never reach To guide their homes in Yahuah’s ways But give them Rome on feast days Woe to the ones who know the Name But hide it still to play the game He said, “Declare Me before men” Or I won’t speak your name again Woe to the women who teach to sin Who dress for flesh and drag men in You traded robes for tighter skin But His fire sees what’s deep within Woe to the nations that steal and kill That plant false flags and break His will That take the land and call it peace But never let the captives cease Woe to the ones who block the gate Who sell His Word and twist His fate Yahuah gon’ break every chain And flood this earth with holy rain So woe… To the fakes who play the part To the cold, deceived heart To the priests of greed To the wolves who never feed This is not a game, this is the cry Yahuah speaks, don’t pass Him by Every word He said gon’ come The sky gon’ crack, the fire gon’ run And on that Day, no lie gon’ stand No title, no charm, no man Only those who keep His way Will rise with Him on that Day Yahu He said it plain. But they still chose names He never gave. Woe… unto them. More From ZoreaYahu He Alone Is Yahuah All I Want Is Yahuah Blood That Speaks Father & Son Fear Yahuah Or Fall He Don't Bow The Scroll Behind This Song The Woe of Yahuah Upon Them stands in the old prophetic tradition of naming sin plainly and warning of the judgment that follows it. Its backbone is the pattern of Yashaʿyahu (Isaiah) 5:20-23, where woe is pronounced on those who call evil good and good evil, who are wise in their own eyes, and who justify the guilty for reward. The song borrows that same posture, it does not flatter, it exposes, and it insists that leaders who trade truth for comfort are storing up judgment rather than escaping it.

Much of the song is aimed at teachers and shepherds who profit from the people while starving them of truth. This echoes Mal'aki (Malachi) 2:1-9, a charge against priests who corrupt the covenant and cause many to stumble by their crooked instruction. The same weight sits in Mattithyahu (Matthew) 23:13-15, where the strongest rebukes fall on those who hold a religious office yet shut the way and mislead their followers.

At the heart of the song is the clash between the appointed times of Yahuah and the borrowed customs of the nations. ʿAmus (Amos) 5:21-24 records Yahuah rejecting feasts and songs that are offered while justice is trampled, asking instead for right living to roll down like water. Yirmiyahu (Jeremiah) 10:2-4 warns plainly against learning the way of the nations and taking up their customs, including the decorated tree. The song's contrast between the Moadim and the imported holidays draws its plain sense from these passages, worship on terms Yahuah never gave is not worship He accepts.

The song also widens from religion to the whole ordering of society, naming courts, rulers, and the powerful who oppress the weak. This keeps faith with the prophets, who never separated true worship from justice. The plain message across all of these references is one thing, Yahuah sees both the altar and the street, and He judges hypocrisy in each.

Finally, the song closes on hope inside the warning. The judgment is not the last word for those who turn, the promise is that those who keep His way will rise with Him in that Day. The rebuke is meant to produce return, not despair. Listeners drawn to this theme will also find it in Yahuah They Lied To Us, Yahuah Breaks The Lies, Fear Yahuah or Fall, He Don't Bow, and Obedience To Yahuah Is Love.
