In that passage Yahusha describes himself as one who was sent, who was given authority, who received words and work from the Father, and who has finished what he was given to do. Every phrase in the prayer keeps two persons in view and keeps them in order. The Son addresses the Father, and the honor he seeks is honor that returns to the One who sent him.

Dabarim (Deuteronomy) 18:15-19 stands behind this as the older promise. There Yahuah tells Yashar'al that He will raise up a prophet like Mosheh from among their brothers, put His words in that prophet's mouth, and require the people to heed what he speaks. The song leans on this to explain why the Son speaks with authority and yet speaks words that are not his own invention. The words are placed in his mouth by Yahuah.

The supporting lines in Yahukhanan sharpen the same distinction. In 5:19 and 5:30 Yahusha says the Son can do nothing of himself, only what he sees the Father doing, and that he seeks the will of the One who sent him rather than his own will. In 8:28-29 and 8:42 he says he speaks as the Father taught him, that he was sent and did not come of himself, and that the Father is with him. These verses refuse any picture of a Son acting on his own account.

Yahukhanan (John) 14:28 gives the plainest ordering statement, where Yahusha says the Father is greater than he. The song does not blur this. It holds the Father and the Son as distinct, with the Son sent, taught, and obedient, and with all honor flowing back to Yahuah.

Across these passages the message is consistent, Yahusha is sent by Yahuah, speaks the words given to him, does the works shown to him, and directs honor to the Father. The song sits in the Yahuah, Yahusha, and authority cluster alongside Yahusha High Priest & King, It's The Blood, and Blood That Speaks.
